25 Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 01/17/10 Mumbai   4:00:56 Marathon 513 89   9 With a fast paced first half(5:35 per Km) that I managed to sustain almost till 30Km mark achieved my personal best in a FM in India. The sealink was monotonous and warm and lack of water on it and a few Km after it was a killer for most runners. It impacted my last 3-4 Kms where I struggled quite a bit- else sub 4 should have been achieved. Felt completely exhausted at the end. Crowd support and enthusiasm seemed low key this year.
24 Bangalore Ultra 2009 11/15/09 Bangalore   5:22 50 km       2 Awesome Bangalore weather, beautiful trail, enthusiastic runners, good race organization - all enabled me to shave nearly 28 minutes of my last years' time. I completed in 5:22 despite an upset stomach from the middle of the 3rd loop.
23 RFL Olde Bangalore run 07/26/09 Bangalore   4:29 Marathon         A great race with wonderful company of fellow runners and a fantastic running route. Got a lot of cheers at the finish - this being my 12th full marathon finish since August 2008. Managed a strong and comfortable 4:29 finish.
22 RFL Bellandur run 06/28/09 Bangalore   4:43 Marathon         Nice, easy run - helped by the usual Bangalore weather. Though terrain was uneven was able to maintain even pace in the first 3 loops and go a bit faster in the 4rth loop. Enjoyed the company of Rishi, Uday and Partha
21 RFL EGL Run 05/17/09 Bangalore   04:29 Marathon         Started the run a little after 5:20; did the first half in about 2:10; was able to maintain a steady pace in the second half despite the heat and managed to scrape through just under my target of 4:30; Great company from RFL runners Doc Rajat, Uday, Amrita, Naru, Vasu, Gopal and Rishikesh
20 RFL Hennur run 04/19/09 Bangalore   4:32 Marathon         Great support from fellow RFL runners - Dharam, Uday, Manoj. Also, motivated by the cheers from other runners: Pankaj, Praveen, Rishi etc. The terrain made it an aboe average difficulty run and the weather made it quite tough in the last 8Km. Was to happy to finish around my goal of 4:30
19 SunTrust Mational Marathon 03/21/09 Washington DC DC 3:56:49 Marathon 2723 870/2093   50/121 It was freezing at the start. Managed a fast first half and then managed to push and sustain pace and finished in PB of 3:56:49. Felt quite drained out but great at the finish!
18 2nd Auroville Marathon 02/15/09 Auroville   4:23:25 Marathon 77       Stunning trail, well-organized race. Had a slow start in the dark at 5am - watching my step and enjoying the stars and the chirping of the birds. Picked up pace in the middle 25Kms and finished strong. Enjoyed the run very much - probably th most scenic route in which I have ever run!
17 Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 01/18/09 Mumbai   4:13 Marathon 440     6 The one hour earlier start, the usual Mumbai crowd support and lot of familiar runners made this another enjoyable race. Was targeting sub 4:30- however was able to reach 30K under 3 hours and managed to finish close to 4:15 - my best ever in Mumbai!
16 RFL Bellandur Run 12/14/08 Bangalore   4:29 Marathon         Had a great run. Started at 530AM -in the dark - with Deepak. Weather was ideal and managed to complete the FM very comfortably.
15 Bangalore Ultra 2008 11/16/08 Bangalore   5:50:21 50 km 606 9/75   2 Once again a great race! The route was different - a bit easier than last year. The weather was simply fantastic. Finished much stronger than the KTM marathon last month and the Ultra last year
14 Kaveri Trail Marathon 2008 10/19/08 Srirangapatam   4:42:19 Marathon 116       Was targeting to finish between 4:30 and 4:45 - just about managed it. It was a mostly flat but tough trail. Also had a blow hot blow cold type of weather. Quite satisfied considering I pulled my lower back muscle 8 days before the run.
13 RFL Kanakpura road run 09/21/08 Bangalore   4:29 Marathon         One of the toughest courses I have ever run -too many long, steep gradients. Just managed to finish under my target time. Lot of cheering runners, running with Nagaraj making his comeback from injury and the last 17K with doc made it a wonderful run!
12 Hyderabad Half and Full Marathon 08/16/08 Hyderabad   4:06 Marathon 175       A wonderful road race experience! Good course, early start, well manned aid stations, wonderful volunteers and traffic control - all made it a great experience. Areas for improvement: more runners, crowd support enroute and electronic timings

9 SunTrust Richmond Marathon 11/10/07 Richmond VA 4:04:09 Marathon 3372 1610 1134 172 Great Race- shaved 22 minutes of my PR! It was cold and I was targeting a sub 4:15 finish. Could not keep pace in the last 5Kms to do a sub 4 Hr finish
8 Bangalore Midnight Marathon 05/19/07 Bangalore   4:44:36 Marathon 00297       running through the night from 12:15am to 5am was a very different experience - it became very lonely towards the end.
