U11 - A personal worst for the 50k distance. The elevation was my downfall. Ran 3:35 for the first 16.2 and 4:09 for the second 14.8. Didn't think I'd make it up the 2-3 mile hill at mile 23. But I got my second wind for the last 3 miles and finished strong(er). |

M14 - You'd think I'd be disappointed in this race since I ran a huge positive split (2:08/2:30), but I had a great time. Poor second half due to stomach going south. But at mile 22 met a new friend running his first and we finished together with a strong run/walk. Beautiful, well supported course! Hot day probably contributed to stomach problems. |

Ultra #10 - Tough day! Mud, mud and more sloshy, mud! Time was 23 mins slower than 2007 but effort felt higher. Knee tweaked too. But I didn't fall down or slip in the mud! That's an accomplishment I can be proud of! Need to keep training....or racing. :) |

Marathon #13 - Hilly course and windy at times. Probably the toughest road marathon I've done. It was great to be out there with all the other maniacs! Pretty views and very scenic in spots. |

Ultra #8. First 50 miler! Happy to get that out of the way. : ) Couldn't ask for better weather. Stomach went south on laps 7, 8, and 9, but I rallied for a strong finish on lap 10. Need to figure out the stomach issues. Otherwise strong and steady. Yay! |
