4 Whitbey Island Ghost 02/28/09 Oak Harbor WA 5:15:08 Marathon 1015 7     Very very hilly, somehow my Garmin stopped somewhere and I don't know how long it lapsed till I reset it. I was pretty soar- the hills kicked my butt. Weather was cloudy and about 45 degrees F. Wore my hat the whole time but the gloves got too hot. Wore my pullover but probably would have taken it off except it was a hassle to so I didn't bother. I liked the race. only 10 participants and I was number 7. 7th place overall. Woohoo! Can't say that too often.
3 Valentines 02/08/09 Olympia WA 4:58:00 Marathon         Cool, sunny most of the race. Slightly uphill most the first 6 miles. Support was pretty good but for the food that was leftover after the half marathoners came in wasn't much- I didn't expect it to be though. Not enough medals but I didn't care-and I don't like t-shirts so I let them keep the t-shirt.
2 Seattle Ghost 11/29/08 Seattle     Marathon         Cramped up badly about mile 6 and it lasted through mile 13. Ended up running the rest with Ray which helped- walk breaks and all. Think it was repercussions for pushing hard and no S-caps from Marine Corps Marathon. Otherwise- all went fine. Well supported. Appreciated the cheering. Dunked in the water at the end which helped.
1 Grande Ass Marathon 08/01/08 Puyallup WA 4:27 Marathon         Great race! Everyone should do it! The Starbucks was fun- the race was fun- I had a blast.
