Loop the Lake 12/29/12 Renton/Seattle/Mercer Island/Bellevue WA   Half Marathon         Fun run with good company, but rainy and cold. I-90 bridge was almost unbearble. Ran with Niiki on our first day of the Winter Quadzuki.I can't find the race results :( (Not that the time is anything to right home about but I like to keep track)
First Call to Run 01/01/09 Bothell WA 2:31 Half Marathon 111       Great way to start the New Year. Ran with Tory, during the first half of her full marathon. First race with snow on the ground. My husband also ran this as his first 1/2 marathon in preperation for DisneyWorld.
Tacoma Narrows 1/2 Marathon 08/01/09 Gig Harbor to Tacoma WA 1:59:22 Half Marathon         A PR...WooHoo! I was beginning to think I was never going to get a new PR, much less break 2 hours. Great day. And again, I LOVE this race!!
Half & Half 08/08/09 Bothell WA 2:01:46 Half Marathon 32       My second fastest 1/2 marathon ever and only a week after my PR. Maybe training is paying off!!! Very fun day with lots of Maniacs and Fanatics. Thanks Adrian and crew...Yummy treats at the finish, especially chocolate milk!!
Mercer Island 1/2 Marathon 03/20/05 Mercer Island WA 2:02:10 Half Marathon 318       My first half marathon. Miserable, rainy, windy day. My knee hurt terribly. After I finished, I thought...hey maybe I WOULD like to do a full. Turned out to be my PR for more than 4 years.
Seattle Marathon 11/27/05 Seattle WA 2:03:02 Half Marathon 9720       Another rainy day...why am I doing this? A month and a half after my first full marathon.
Tacoma Narrows 1/2 Marathon 08/02/08 Gig Harbor to Tacoma WA 2:04:33 Half Marathon 646       I LOVED this race! It was a great day.
Royal Victoria Marathon 10/08/06 Victoria BC 2:04:35 Half Marathon 7330       Another rainy race. But a fun weekend with my girl friends. I still talk about the bread that we had for lunch...yum yum!!!!
Tacoma Narrows 1/2 Marathon 08/06/11 Home to work WA 2:05:42 Half Marathon 929       Great day! I continue to LOVE this event. Today was overcast and warm and PERFECT. As always the volunteers were great. Ran with a 14 year old that is on his way to becoming a Fanatic. It was fun to run with him and pace him to perhaps a 20 minute PR. No PR for me today but the last time I ran a 1/2 faster was 2 years ago. Very happy with today. Not to mention all the friends, lunch with a bunch of Fanatics and so many friends PRing out there today.
Tacoma Narrows 1/2 Marathon 08/07/10 Gig Harbor to Tacoma WA 2:08:04 Half Marathon 99       I still LOVE this race. It was foggy, drizzly and muggy. I ran with my niece the entire way and talked her ear off (We'll see if she ever runs with me again). This was her 3rd 1/2 and she PR'd. Also, my nephew ran his first. Having so many friends (and family too) makes this a fun event. Loved the pizza at the finish!
St Paddy's Day Run-Tacoma 03/16/13 Tacoma WA 2:10:23 Half Marathon         Fun run. It was a little bit rainy but not bad. Ran several miles with a few different friends and saw so many others. Pushed myself today and overall happy. ANd then, post race lunch and cupcakes, makes a happy girl :)
Portland RnR 1/2 05/20/12 Portland OR 2:10:33 Half Marathon         It was hilly....it started with a drizzle....it rained the entire race and sometimes poured...it was muggy. With all that being said, I really enjoyed this race. I was pleased with my time and felt like I ran hard (for me, these days). So many fanatic friends (although I missed the photos :() My husband ran as well. Fun weekend!
Detroit US only 1/2 Marathon 10/21/12 Detroit MI 2:10:44 Half Marathon         I was actually kind of dreading this event as I was disapointed that I wasn't running the full or the international 1/2 and I really knew nobody there. But as it turns out..I really enjoyed this event! My race started at 11am so it warmed up. The international 1/2 was mostly completed and there was full marathoners still out there. The race started at mile 13.1 of the full. It really was a beautiful day and I thought the course was beautiful too. Nice fall day. We ran about 3 miles around Belle Island and could see accross to Canada. Great volunteers and Really nice medals. Hope I get the chance to go back and run the full.
Foot Traffic Flat 1/2 Marathon 07/04/11 Sauvie Island OR 2:11:32 Half Marathon         FIVE moons, baby! Half marathon triples are fun! Again, great day with great weather. Today was my day to just run. I have not pushed myself in a long time. It was not even close to a PR but the last time I ran faster than this was almost a year ago. I took one mile at a time and was able to make it to the finish. Then I got to watch my family and friends finish. Highlight was seeing Rikki Bobbie and her SUPER-FAST Boston Qyalifying finish (and Katie completing a triple and Jodi and Aimee completing a double and strawberry shortcake and dinner with the Gate-Keeper and friends and the best mashed potatos EVER). What a fantastic weekend with friends and family. Thanks Steve for putting this all together!!!
Half & Half 08/15/09 Bothell WA 2:14:43 Half Marathon 32       Another Great event. Thanks to Adrian and Marty. Lots of Fantics shirts out there now. Congrats to Jodi and Aimee on their first half marathon and to Stephanie on her Fanatic qualification! Went back out for 5 more for my marathon training.
You Go Girl 09/16/11 Tacoma WA 2:17:33 Half Marathon         Again, had a great time being the 2:20 pacer. This time with my friend Mary from AZ! Pacing is a whole different kind of challange. Came in a bit too fast again. But nobody seemed to mind. SO many people came up and thanked us afterwards that we didn't even know were "running" with us. Fun day at another great event!!!!
You Go Girl! 09/26/10 Tacoma WA 2:18:14 Half Marathon 833       OOPS!...I was the 2:20 pacer, we ran it a bit too fast. Anyway, I had a fabulous time pacing with Fanatic, Libby. We had a couple gals with us off and on and one gal, throughout (she got a nice PR, too). Anyway, it was great from start to finish...The limo ride made us feel like RockStars. Hope I get to pace next year : ) Another fabulous Tacoma event!
Race for a Soldier 10/16/11 Gig Harbor WA 2:18:23 Half Marathon         Had a great time pacing 2:20 with Kristin along with the company of Kim. Very inspirational race for a great cause. Hilly course. I thnk my pacing skills are getting a bit better (the closest to goal time, yet)...Maybe next time, I will be right on!
Tacoma Narrow's Half 08/04/12 Gig Harbor to Tacoma WA 2:22:08 Half Marathon         This was by far my slowest TNH. However it is still a great event, despite my performance. Hot weather :) Ran the first 1/2 with Mare :) Ran in with Tory, who came to greet me after we hadn't run together in months since her stroke :) Then participated in my first Dirty Dash...Good day!
Tunnel Medal 1/2 Marathon 09/20/09 North Bend WA 2:22:44 Half Marathon         Thanks To Brian and Susan and all of their voluneers. Very fun morning. Ran with Tory and Lisa. Also fun to see all of my other maniac and and fanatic friends out there and some soon to be...
Walt Disney World 1/2 Marathon 01/09/10 Orlando FL 2:25:49 Half Marathon         Had fun because I was running with Tory and Susan...but my was it miserable. Snow, sleet, frozen rain pelting your face and then just the regular rain for the entire race. The weather was miserable, but what can you say, we were in sunny Florida? I still would say it was great because of the good company and taking place in one of my favorite places!
Ghost of Seattle 1/2 11/27/10 Seattle WA 2:26:04 Half Marathon 93       Ended up running this last minute. Had a fun time running with Brian Starkey...He ran my entire 1/2 with me, but I only ran 1/2 of his full with him...hee hee.
Yukon Do It 12/31/12 Port Orchard WA 2:27:01 Half Marathon 230       I volunteered to pace before there was an option to quadzuki. As it got closer I became stressed that I was not going to be able to do it on day 3 (especially when day 1 and 2 were slower than 2:30). However, it was again a chilly day, but I was pleasently surprised at how well I felt. I didn't really have anyone running with me but enjoyed the beautiful course, and again there were camels! I started out faster than pace but assumed I would slow down. In the end, I came in almost 3 minutes early, but I am still calling it a success.
Disneyland Half Marathon 09/06/09 Anahiem CA 2:27:01 Half Marathon         Ran with my son Nick for about half of it (then he ran with his dad). Also ran with 2 nieces and a friend. My son Josh and a third niece and her husband also ran. What a great day! Many family members running a race in the Happiest Place on Earth, what more could you ask for?
First Call to Run 01/01/13 Bothell WA 2:33:22 Half Marathon 177       Fun day on a beautiful, chilly day. Bright blue skies and now rain :) Good company the entire way with Carol, Paige and Tory. Many other friends out there too. Completed the Winter Quadzuki. So proud of Nikki, who dug deep and ran day 3 and 4 faster than prievious days!
Walt Disney World 1/2 Marathon 01/10/09 Orlando FL 2:34:38 Half Marathon 32405       A half marathon in one of my Happy Places...what more can be said? Well, I ran the whole way with my husband, that was fun. And then if that wasn't good enough, I got to do it all over again the next day, only double the distance, as I was being Goofy. Very, Very fun event!!!!
Freedom 1/2 Marathon 07/03/11 Gresham OR 2:38:47 Half Marathon         Another great day with another niece. Today I ran with my niece Jodi and our friend Aimee. They couldn't make the first day but they were running the double and on their way to qualifying for the Half Fanatics. Again, this was a lot of fun....nice weather and a course with great volunteers where we got to see so many old and new friends from the day before. We saw a wild peackock along the way. We did a run walk and had a blast. Nice BBQ at the finish.
Double Trouble Dash 02/12/12 Puyallup WA 2:49:02 Half Marathon         I ran with Insane Jane. You had to be connected to your running buddy the entire race. We had a great time running around Bradley Lake and Pierce College (many times). It was a perfect day for running and we came in 7th place!
Wittle Waddle 11/23/12 Seattle WA 3:00:50 Half Marathon         Really enjoyed running with Tory and Megan! My plan was to run the Quadzuki over the weekend but unfortunately this is the only 1/2 I complete over the weekend. Great fun and a great event put on by Matt and Betsy as well as their awesome volunteers. Loved the hats!
Seattle Locks 12/30/12 Seattle WA 3:03:45 Half Marathon         Day 2 of quadzuki. A nice run with Nikki, Joe and Janna! encounter so many frineds out there. It was chilly but didn't rain, making it a good day.
First Call Spring Run Off 05/23/10 Bothell WA 3:12:29 Half Marathon 262       I was going to run the full and then had issues with a cold so switched to walk the 1/2. Never walked a 1/2 before. It was fun and had good company with fellow fanatic Jane Herzog. As always a great event put on by the Call family. So glad I didn't have to miss out on the fun. Then a nice lunch at the Red Hook Brewery :) Of course it wasn't chip timed, but this was our garmin time as we started a few minutes late... Fun times with all of the Fanatics and Maniacs!
Stars and Stripes 1/2 Marathon 07/02/11 Beaverton (I think) OR 3:29:22 Half Marathon         Had a great day walking with my niece Katie who was on her way to completeing her 2nd, 3rd and 4th half marathons ever and becoming a Fanatic! The weather was perfect and it was a fun course. You got to see all of the runners so many times. Great volunteers! Katie and I had so much fun together.
Seattle Rock and Roll 06/23/12 Seattle WA 02:34:36 Half Marathon         Was registered for the full but dropped to the half. Fun day running with my husband, although his style is different than mine and it was hard. I liked the new course. I was irritated they were out of GU and the fire hydrant water tasted terrible and my drop bag was lost for a while but thankful they found it. Also sad that I missed so many of my maniac friends. However, despite all of that...it was a good day!
