Had to walk the last 40 miles. It was a long day. Now out on recovery for several weeks/months. But I finished!!
68 Miwok 100k 05/05/12 Marin CA 16:30:03 100 km         This was a tough race! Was happy to finish. New course this year. Course was long by 1.7 miles and climbing was closer to 13,000 feet. It was a warm day. Beautiful views. It was the day of the super moon too. Absolutely gorgeous.

50 Gorge Waterfalls 50k 03/12/11 Cascade Locks OR 7:44:10 50 km         First annual. Beautiful race!!! Had a lot of fun. Course was more technical than I expected and first trail run of the year. My feet we're feeling pretty beat up by the end.

It has been my best friend and fellow Maniac, Steph Eldore's, dream for many years to start a marathon in Priest Lake. It was so great to be able to run and participate in this marathon with her. A very special day! We had beautiful weather and it's beautiful course.

44 American Discovery Trail Marathon 09/06/10 Colorado Springs CO 4:48:57 Marathon         Ran this the day after Breck Crest. I was tired, but got to run it with my best friend who is going to pace me in my upcoming 100 miler. We had a great time. This is a nice race. Gravel pathway most of the course. Great scenery. Flat.
43 Breck Crest Mountain Marathon 09/05/10 Breckenridge CO 7:00:06 Marathon         This doesn't qualify as a marathon since it wasn't 26.2 (it was 23.5 miles), but let me tell you it should have the respect of a marathon or even a 50k. As if climbing 5,000 feet in the first 12 miles to 12,600 feet wasn't tough enough. Add in 50+mps winds. It was an insane day, but absolutely gorgeous!

40 Grand Ridge 50k 08/07/10 Issaquah WA 7:40:18 32 mi         I was tired going into this thing and it was quite a challenging course which made for a long day. Climbed 5,000 feet. It was a humid and wet day. I ran with with my good friend and fellow maniac Steph which made it an even better adventure!
39 Mt. Hood PCT Ultramarathon 07/24/10 Timothy Lake OR 11:12:37 50 mi         I love this race! I had a much better experience this year without the PF. I improved my time by an 1 hour and 17 minutes.

Had a big storm the morning before the race so the course was nice and muddy, which caused a lot of extra work. Wheels fell off this girl at mile 25. They have a summer edition....think I need to go back and give it another shot!

26 Mt. Hood Pacific Coast Trail Ultramarathon 07/25/09 Clackamas OR 12:29:13 50 mi         Beautiful course. Awesome volunteers!! It was a hot and humid day. Had a great time except for my plantar fasciitis in both feet that I had ignored all summer. OUCH. Kicked in really bad at mile 14. It was painful, but still managed to smile the entire way earning the nickname smiley 174 from the volunteers.

The race does not have many aid stations so it is helpful to have a crew member...thank god for Maniac #980! Great group of people...runners, crew members and volunteers. I would recommend this race to anyone wanting to do a 50 miler.
15 Two Bear Marathon 09/21/08 Whitefish MT 4:27:28 Marathon   40/ 100 8/ 39 2/ 5 This is a BEAUTIFUL course!!! It was well organized. The volunteers and community were awesome! The medals are really neat and made out of granite. Only downer is that it rained the entire race. This is a part trail and part road race. So the weather conditions made it a cold, sloppy and muddy mess. With that said, I still highly recommend this race!
14 Uncle Joe 50 km 09/06/08 Newport WA 6:08:25 50 km         This was my first ultra. I loved this race! Scenery was beautiful. The race was well organized. Great volunteers and a fun BBQ at the finish. I will definitely do this one again!
13 Haulin Aspen Trail Marathon 08/10/08 Bend OR 4:34:08 Marathon   61/ 128   3/ 8 This was my first trail marathon. First half was tough. 5 miles of brutal hills. It was beautiful. Small. Fun gathering afterwards. I really enjoyed this race and will definately do it again.
