First Call Veteran's Day Marathon 11/13/10 Bothell WA 5:02:38 Marathon         I found the shoes were too small and killed my toe nail. Fortunately, I had another pair in my car, and was able to change after the first loop. The race was otherwise great as always.
Tokyo City Marathon 02/18/07 Tokyo   5:05:16 Marathon 28358 13529     My very first marathon, and it's held in the cold rain. I loved the course, and was happy to be able to finish.
Seattle Marathon 11/29/09 Seattle WA 5:09:27 Marathon 2350 1264   219/ 238 Glad that I finished it. The course map was in my head, and the blister that I got from Seattle ghost didn't bother me at all.
First Call 01/02/12 Bothell WA 5:10:00 Marathon 117       I did a super ES (5am), and had a great time taking photos in the second half. I also felt strong throughout the race although I was slow as usual, and it's great.
Leavenworth Oktoberfest Marathon 10/03/09 Leavenworth WA 5:10:33 Marathon 77 71/ 88 46/ 52   It turned out to be a nice weather. Got too tired in the second lap due to the lack of practice. I still enjoyed it very much. I should have brought a bottle of water.
First Call 05/21/11 Bothell WA 5:13:02 Marathon         Took it easy except the last quarter when Andy got me, and I tried to keep up with him. It was fun as always, and nice to run the course I run all the time.

Utah Canyon Valley 06/09/12 Provo UT 5:19:50 Marathon         Much slower than I'd expected, but not sure it's due to insufficient training or the course elevation. Nice scenic course, and good support. Loved seeing so many MMs with Reunion.
Last Chance 12/31/10 Bellingham WA 5:20:18 Marathon 28       Very cold day, but had a good time out there. I wore a wrong set of shoes, and couldn't run well in the first half. I had another set of road shoes in my car and changed for the second round. And they worked better, but still didn't suit the best for off-roads.
Birch Bay Ghost 12/11/10 Birch Bay WA 5:21:08 Marathon         It was great evnet. Enjoyed the first half with Rick and Rich. No rain, no snow, and no wind. The second half was 29 mins faster than the first one.
Cedar River Yours Truly 02/27/11 Landsburg WA 5:21:33 Marathon         I started at 4am agian. It was dark,and snowing. Since I had 4:42 lask, I expected similar, but I was much slowere.
Wattle Waddle 11/24/11 Seattle WA 5:22:06 Marathon 64       Enjoyed the race a lot. The rain in the end was however freezing, and I was totally frozen.
Pigtails Flat Ass 12/17/11 Landsburg WA 5:32:07 Marathon 256       Enjoyed running with my DSLR. It got heavier in the end, but it was fun. I really ran out of gas by mile 21, but the aid station really helped me. I started running again, and finished happily.
Birch Bay Ghost 12/12/09 Birch Bay WA 5:33:55 Marathon 67       I got blister again with the same shoes, and had to slow down. Expecting severe weather, but it was nice.
Loop the lake marathon 12/29/12 Renton WA 5:44:09 Marathon 9       Always wanted to run the south loop of the lake, and it's great that I was able to run it as a race.
Friday Night Marathon 08/26/11 Seattle WA 5:55:00 Marathon         Fun run with a bunch of friends. 3pm ES, and finished before needing the light.
Woolley Marathon 02/19/11 Sedro Woolley WA 5:56:07 Marathon 691       It was very cold and the pipe of my camel bag got frozen for a while, and couldn't drink the water. Nice easy run chatting with Rob and Monte, and I actually liked the water flooding at 4.5 miles.
Redmond Watershed 08/29/10 Redmond WA 6:04:34 Marathon 548       Since I had not much practice, I wasn't sure if I could finish. So, I was very happy that I finished it.

Yakima River Canyon Marathon 03/31/12 Yakima WA 8:49:00 Marathon 104       Ran (walked) the whole race with Bob Dolphin, carrying two cameras. It was a blessing event to see him finishing his 500th marathon.

Fund Raiser for Breast Cancer 28.8M 07/05/08 Renton WA 6:25:43 31 mi 18       I didn't finish the Lake Youngs Ultra three weeks ago, so I tried it again with this one. It took me a long time, but I was glad to finish it.
West Seattle Fat Ass 50k 02/06/11 Seattle WA 6:35:39 50 km         My legs stopped working in the last quarter, but Rob helped me get going. I was totally expecting rain, and it was bonus that it stopped right at 7am.

Pigtails Lake Youngs 01/22/11 Renton WA 7:01:52 50 km 168       Very nice day for running although I was even expecting some rain. Took it easy, and enjoy the chat with Rob and Rick. The counter clockwise direction really confused my mind in the beginning as I was expecting clockwise loop, but I actually liked it.
Bridal Trails 50k 01/09/10 Kirkland WA 7:05:40 50 km 58 66/ 70     Very much enjoyed the evening race, running with Rick and Leslie for the first 4 laps. I was behind them in the last two laps.

Defiance 10/16/10 Tacoma WA 7:13:38 50 km 106 89/ 97 65/ 70 9/ 10 I am happy that I was able to finish it in the time limit since I spent more than 10 hours in the last two 50Ks. I got lost once but realized right away and no problem. I would like to try it again next year.
Bridle Trails 50k 01/08/11 Kirkland WA 7:31:37 50 km 52       Enjoyed running the muddy course with Rob. It seemed a bit darker than the last year, but it might have to do with my eye sight.
Bridle Trail 01/12/13 Kirkland WA 7:34:23 50 km         It was cold, but not muddy at all. The first loop was done in 50 mins, but had many leg troubles in the second loop. Rob was kind enough to wait for me, and we ran together.

Chuckanut 50k 03/19/11 Fairhaven WA 8:06:31 50 km 298 285/ 289 186/ 189   Nice weather, and beautiful coures. I was able to finish 33 mins faster than I did last year, and I am happy with it.
Gorge Waterfalls 50k 03/30/13 Gorge OR 8:12:38 50 km 303 276/ 281 166/ 168   Loved the trails by the waterfalls. I was worried about my knee pain from the previous week, but it was fine. Relatively an easy course, but the hill climb in the end was a challenging one.
Chuckanut 50k 03/20/10 Fairhaven WA 8:40:00 50 km   286/ 287 187/ 188   It was great course.
Doppler 50K 11/22/09 Bremerton WA 8:53:00 50 km         Very challenging race, but with a lot of fun.
PCT Bunker to Bonneville 09/04/10 North Bonneville WA 9:45:43 50 km   45/ 48     Loved this point-to-point course. The climbing Climbing Three Corner Rock was pushing my limit with me having acrophobia. The rocky surface in the last 10 miles was tough.
Baker Lake 10/02/10 Concrete WA 10:15:26 50 km 113       Ran as a sweeper for the first time, and enjoyed it very much. Mt. Baker and the lake were beautiful, and I enjoyed the course too.
Cle Elum Ridge 09/18/10 Cle Elum WA 10:20:30 50 km 194       I wasn't able to finish in the time limit of 10 hours, but they let me finish anyway. The course was great, but sharing it with the motorcyclists was a bit scary.
Dizzy Daze 03/26/11 Seattle WA 6:32:46 32 mi 30       Enjoyed the 10 loops of Green Lake started at 6am. Gorgeous sunrise and some cold rain in the end. It was nice to keep bumping into friends in this short loop.

Mt. Si Relay and Ultra Run 04/13/08 Snoqualmie WA 10:59:32 50 mi 53 49/ 50     I didn't feel I was ready for 50m, but I signed up anyway. There was no one at the first turn-around at 15k, and I understand we ended up running at least a mile more. It was a long day, but I managed to finish the race and felt great.
