Excellent race in the woods. 24 degrees at the start, frozen face syndrome for 5 miles, 48 degrees at the end. Perfect weather! My redemption after the awfulness of San Antonio. Good to see Steve G, #456, again. |

A grim lesson in humility! Hot, humid, Personal Worst. 16 mile run followed by 10 mile trudge. Organization and logistics were excellent. Races with 30,000 people just not my kind of fun. BUT . . . . I met THE PREZ and #2 on expo day!! Made up for the train-wreck on race day. Also met #1161 pre-race. |

THE BIGGEST MEDAL EVER SEEN! And the heaviest. And it was Year of the Bat. And of course an excellent fun race to start the year. Ran with trashed hamstrings, but nevertheless enjoyed myself thoroughly. |

First marathon. Didn't eat enough during race. Hallucinations at mile 22. Small boy gave me a banana and saved my race. |
