Interestingly, I was in second place until mile 18 or so, and was told the leader was disqualified for cutting the course! Nice race -- won a cuckoo clock!

The tourism bureau must have put together this course -- Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain; fairly good course, but a few miles on cobblestones. I would recommend this one for anyone wanting to do a "dream" marathon.
