123 Griffith Park Trail Marathon 04/13/13 Hollywood CA 5:44:57 Marathon 29       This was my first time running in Griffith Park!! Did not know the park is so huge with tons of trails to run! This was a tough course with some tough uphills and downhills but overall it was a fun event. Gotta love the buckle, even for a marathon.

120 RNRAZ Marathon 01/20/13 Phoenix AZ 3:53:37 Marathon         My FIRST Sub4 of the year!! Havent had a Sub4 race since last year's LA Marathon. Weather was between cool and warm, between 50s to 70s. I have ran RNRAZ since 2004, but only started the Full since 2005. Cant wait to go back next year!!
119 World Disney World Marathon 01/13/13 Orlando FL 5:46:38 Marathon 20558       This was my 111th marathon and 1st time doing this Goofy Challenge. I took my time during this marathon just to have the opportunity to take pictures with all the cartoon characters on the course. It was a bit warm and humid that day, I m glad it started at 5:30am.
118 Mississippi Blues Marathon 01/05/13 Jackson MS 4:33:52 Marathon 369       My Birthday Race!!This was my 2nd time I ran a marathon on my birthday!!Although MS Blues course was a bit boring, going thru some residential neighborhood a lot, but they got some sweet goodies, like harmonica, tech shirt, string bag, guitar medal with a pick. It was cold on race day, started to drizzle around Mile 23, then later rain a lot more after we finish. Great post race food(pizza, hot soup, sandwiches, beer,etc..)
117 Across The Year 24 Hours 12/31/12 Glendale AZ 23:42 101 mi 1005       This is my first 24 hours race, my goal was to get to 100 miles so I could earn my first buckle!! And I did!! Finished 101 1 mile laps in 23:42. 100 Miles Sub 24!!This was one of my toughest race ever, no sleep for 24hrs. But overall it was a great way to celebrate the new year.
116 Operation Jack Marathon 12/26/12 Dockweiler Beach CA 4:05:38 Marathon 521       My Final Marathon of 2012!!Perfect weather, was suppose to rain but didnt. Sun warmed up early on but the wind keep us cool. 2 loops of out and back course along the bike path, very scenic. Pizza, chocolate milk, orange and banana for post race food. AWESOME!!
115 Hoover Dam Marathon 12/15/12 Lake Mead NV 4:33:27 Marathon 489       This is my first time running this race. 2 loops course. We had to run thru a few dark short tunnel early on and on our way back. Nice view of the newly build bridge at Mile 6. But the little out and back before goin down to the Halfway turnaround/Finish was a drag. I also earned my 3rd Calico Slam by completed 4 Calico event in 12 months!!
114 California International Marathon 12/02/12 Sacramento CA 4:05:01 Marathon 1619       My 107th Marathon.2nd time running this race.It was raining non stop all morning until after we got to mile 22, I was soaked from head to toes from the start.Glad the weather wasnt too cold and the rain wasnt too heavy. I was able to finish about 15mins faster than last time back in 2008.
113 Catalina Eco Marathon 11/10/12 Avalon CA 5:08:22 Marathon 137       This was my first race in Catalina. Beautiful and tough trail race I've ever ran!! 1st 4 miles were all up hills, then some rolling hills. But the infamous Catalina Crunch hill at Mile 19 was a brutal climb. Volunteers and aid stations were awesome!! Definately be back next year!!
112 Really Big Free Marathon 11/03/12 Lake Mead NV 4:33.27 Marathon 4097       My 105th Marathon!! Very scenic and challenging course with some hills to climb. Last mile was all down hill to the lake. Fun race overall.
111 Marine Corps Marathon 10/28/12 Washington DC 4:12:21 Marathon 4527       My first MCM!!!Glad it didnt rain at all on race day. It was a bit humid at one point, I enjoyed the headwind later in the race cuz it kept me cool. It was a beautiful course with Marines volunteering at every aid stations, but every 2-3 miles were kind of tough. My main goal was to beat Oprah's time and I DID!!Love the finishers jacket they give out at the finish!!
110 Long Beach International Marathon 10/07/12 Long Beach CA 4:18:04 Marathon 88       After running St George the day before, my legs were pretty sore before the race, but I was able to stretch them out and was able to loosen up after a mile or two. I was really surprised that I was able to run on them without any major soreness. This was my fastest back to back marathon ever!!
109 St George Marathon 10/06/12 St George UT 4:17.54 Marathon 1906       My 102nd Marathon!!First time running STG!! Had problem breathing early in the race probably due to the elevation issue. No PR for me on this course, it was an OK course, but I did enjoy running the last few miles in the town of St George where all the spectators came out and cheer for us. Great post race food!!!Awesome medal!!!
108 Endure the Bear 50k 09/08/12 Big Bear CA 7:29:53 50 km 1869       This has to be one of the toughest 50K I have ever ran!! The first 3 miles were all climbing,seems like there were more uphill then downhills, I went to the wrong trail at one point and got lost for a little bit before I went back and found the right trail. The last mile to finish was pretty much all downhill so it was nice. I had to sprint the last few yard just to get in under 7:30!!Beautiful course.
107 ET Full Moon Midnight 51K 08/05/12 Rachel NV 6:14.20 51 km 94       This was my 4th time running this event, 2nd time 51k and I actually set a PR on 51K!! Running at midnight in the middle of nowhere couldnt be more exciting, I actual saw a shooting star for the first time!! Gotta do it again next year!!
106 Running with the Devil 06/23/12 Lake Mead NV 5:30:19 Marathon 101       My 101st Marathon!!This was my 3rd time running this race, this year's weather was around 104, which was pretty much the same as last years. I trained better and well prepared for this year so I was able to finish about half an hour faster than previous year.
105 Pasadena Marathon 05/20/12 Pasadena CA 4:23.04 Marathon 1002       My 100th Marathon!!!What a milestone!!I never thought I could run this many marathons!!It was a perfect day, only a little warmer, was going for a sub4, but the heat slowed me down a little, but I was happy to have my friends and family celebrating with me at the finish line.
104 L.A. Marathon 03/18/12 Los Angeles CA 3:59.49 Marathon 1211       My 99th Marathon!!!I so wish this could be my 100th cuz this was my 1st back in 2001, but bad planning. This was my first LA Marathon Sub4!! The weather was perfect, only a little chilly. They made a lot of improvements from last year's. I cant wait to run this again next year for my 13th straight LA Marathon!!
103 Red Rock Canyon Marathon 03/10/12 Red Rock Canyon NV 5:23.38 Marathon 1068       My 98th Marathon!! This out n back course was very hilly, but very scenic at the same time. It's such a great experience to enjoy the scenic route on foot.
102 Little Rock Marathon 03/04/12 Little Rock AR 3:56.46 Marathon 158       My 97th Marathon!! 7th Sub4 and Sub4 States!! I was following the 3:55 pace group all the way until around Mile 21 when I got dehydrated and slow down a bit, then after I got myself cool down, I was able to pushed hard and finish strong just under 4 hours. Very nice hilly course. The medal was unbelieveble huge!! Will be back next year!!
101 Surf City Marathon 02/05/12 Huntington Beach CA 4:04.17 Marathon 1377       My 96th Marathon!! It was a bit warmer this year, the fun part was running thru Central Park and all the kids were cheering for us, plus around Mile 23 on the bike path, a group of spectators were handing out bacons!!! It was good!! I ran 15 mins faster than last year.
100 ING Miami Marathon 01/29/12 Miami FL 4:24.56 Marathon 1727       My 95th Marathon!! First time in Miami!! Weather was kind of humid, but it was nice on race day, no sun at all but it did rained a little around Mile 17. I really enjoyed the course. Awesome medal!!
99 RNR Arizona 01/15/12 Phoenix AZ 3:47.02 Marathon 1510       My 94th Marathon!!! A New PR!! My 6th Sub 4 and first Sub 3:50!! I really liked the new course from the previous years, awesome food at the finish!! Ran with no Garmin, just my regular Timex watch, keeping my own pace helped. Will be back again next year!!
98 Operation Jack Marathon 12/26/11 Manhattan Beach CA 4:12.32 Marathon 20       My 20th and last Marathon of the year!!! I was fortunated to get the bib #20. The course is a 2 loops on the bike path plus a 2 miles stretch along the river bed. Beautiful beach weather, but the sun was hitting on us pretty bad during the 2nd half so I was forced to walk a lot and didnt get my chance to get in under 4 hours.
97 RNR Las Vegas 12/04/11 Las Vegas NV 4:14.34 Marathon 56549       Marathon #92!! This has to be the worst organized RNR Event I have ever ran!! Merging with the half marathoners for the 2nd half of the race was ridiculous, leaving us with little to no room to run on on the Strip. Post race food was awful, cant believe they serve us GREEN bananas.RNRLV give RNR a bad name.
96 City of Oaks Marathon 11/06/11 Raleigh NC 4:44.03 Marathon 538       Day 2 of Double!! I LOVE this course!! It went thru city road, park trails, lots of rolling hills, weather was pretty chilly in the morning but warmed up later on. State #22, Done!!!
95 RNR Savannah 11/05/11 Savannah GA 3:59.40 Marathon 6025       My 90th Marathon! Day 1 of Double.Was gonna request the bib #90 but they didnt have it. =-( Saw lots of Maniacs before,during the race. Didnt really like the stretch on the freeway, it was boring. But I was able to squeeze in just under 4 hours!! My 4th Sub 4!!
94 RNR St Louis Marathon 10/23/11 St Louis MO 4:26.05 Marathon 1084       My 89th Marathon and 20th State!!! This one is a tough course with lots of rolling hills, but a perfect cool weather helped a lot!! Crowds were awesome, ice cold Cytomax at some aid stations was heaven!! 2 free beers at Mile 25 gave me a boost!!
93 Long Beach Marathon 10/09/11 Long Beach CA 4:10.05 Marathon 474       My 88th Marathon!!! This was my 2nd time running this race, first time back in 2008. I really enjoyed the many out and backs course cuz I got to see everybody from elites to back of the pack. Saw a lot of Maniacs before, during and after the race. Would love to run this course again next year.
92 Erie Marathon 09/18/11 Erie PA 4:41.53 Marathon 97       State #19, Day 2 of my double, this race was pretty simple, 2 loops around the Presquie Isle Park, water station every mile so you know you have hit the mile whenever there is a aide station. My legs were pretty tired after 7 miles, but I found my rythem on the 2nd half and was able to push it and sprinted the last quarter of the mile to the finish
91 Air Force Marathon 09/17/11 Dayton OH 4:32.38 Marathon 615       State #18, Day 1 of my double, what a fantastic race with great voluntteers, spectators, great course. It was a privilage to be able to run inside the Air Force base, especialy on the runway. Finishing at the Air Force Musuem was spectacular, beautiful medal!! Loved everything about this race!!!
90 ET Full Moon Marathon 08/14/11 Rachel NV 4:50.48 Marathon 88       My 85th marathon, I have ran this ET race 3 straight years now and I had such a great time every year. This year I did not have stomach issue but was struggling with the elevation/hills, I managed to finish under 5 hrs, a new ET PR!!!Will be back next year for sure.
89 Mad Marathon 07/10/11 Waitsfield VT 4:29.48 Marathon 81       My 84th Marathon, 17th state!!! This one has gotta be one of the most beautiful scenic and challenging course I have ever ran, very well organized for an inagural race. I was able to make it Sub 4:30 with a sprint the last .2 mile.
88 Running with the Devil Marathon 06/25/11 Boulder City NV 5:45.25 Marathon 406       My 83rd Marathon!! I did better this year with propered training and proper outfit, I didnt feel as tired as I did last year. My extra hydration pak helped me a lot to cool me off. Got me 2nd SLAM again!!! Will be back next year!!
87 Palos Verdes Marathon 05/14/11 Palos Verdes CA 4:31.13 Marathon 42       My 82nd Marathon!! Been running this race 5yrs straight now, but this year with a new out and back 2 loop course. I prefer the old course better. there werent any vendors or foods at the finish line like they used to, kind of disappointed.
86 Big Sur International Marathon 05/01/11 Carmel CA 4:24.55 Marathon 3442       My 3rd time running this marathon, had my fastest Big Sur Marathon time with the new and more challanging out and back course. Beautiful scenic course as always!!!
85 Labor of Love 50 Miler 04/09/11 Las Vegas NV 10:29.28 50 mi 590 14 11 1 My 2nd 50 Miler!!! PRed by half an hour!!! It was really cold thru out the day, most around 40's, even snowed at one point. Very challengin course with few rolling hills.
84 Bataan Death March Marathon 03/27/11 White Sands NM 5:51.51 Marathon 3552       My 80th Marathon!!! and 16th State!!!Was signed up for Heavy Category(35lbs), but had a change of mind and dropped to light category, but I still wanted to carry 10lb backpack for the march. Tough long hills with headwinds starting at mile 4, very challenging course but worth coming back here next year!!! Got to met some WWII survivors was awesome!!!
83 L.A. Marathon 03/20/11 Los Angeles CA 4:32.19 Marathon 537       Marathon #79-DONE!!! This was the wettest marathon EVER!!It started to drizzle after Mile 1, after I finished I was all soaked from head to toes, it rained ALL DAY long!!! But I ran 12mins faster than last years.
82 Red Rock Canyon Marathon 03/05/11 Las Vegas NV 4:56.24 Marathon 135       My 78th Marathon. I did this out and back course last year, but this year the course kind of reversed, I think it takes a second time to really appreciate how beautiful Red Rock Canyon is, it was scenic with breath taking view all the way. would love to run this challenging course again.
81 Mercedes Marathon 02/13/11 Birmingham AL 3:50.55 Marathon 447       A NEW PR!!!!The weather was perfect!! I love the 2 loop course, not hilly or flat, definately a PR course. Great looking medal. Met a lot of Maniacs before and after the race. 15th state DONE!!

79 RNR Arizona Marathon 01/16/11 Phoenix AZ 4:05.41 Marathon 2253       Had a great time meeting all other Maniacs/Fanatics before the race. Was following the 3:40 group from the start, but couldnt hang on. The weather was a bit warm, but was able to set a new RNRAZ PR!!!

77 Death Valley Trail Marathon 12/04/10 Death Valley CA 4:45.13 Marathon 60       My first time doing the DV Trail Marathon. Beautiful course, the toughest part was the first 9 miles, then the rest was pretty much all down hill, perfect weather around 50's, very scenic trail along the Titus Canyon Rd.
76 Malibu International Marathon 11/14/10 Malibu CA 4:14.37 Marathon 100       My 72nd marathon, ran this one last year, it was a bit warmer than last year, same with headwind around mile 11 on PCH. Saw an aid station ran out of water, then less than a mile later, there were boxes of gallon water bottle runner just drink straight out from them. Nice challenging course.
75 New York City Marathon 11/07/10 New York NY 4:21.11 Marathon 4083       My 14th state!!Still cant believe I ran the NYC Marathon, I got lucky winning the lottery on my attempt!! Running on the Veranzano Narrow bridge was an awesome experience!! Didnt like the medal though, plus the way trip back to UPS truck afterward was a drag!!
74 RNR Denver Marathon 10/17/10 Denver CO 4:09.45 Marathon 4196       MY 70TH MARATHON and 13th STATES!!!Glad that I got into Denver a few days ahead to get used to the altitude, I was able to run smoothly, but I was drinking more water than usual due to the altitude. Finish line was awesome with lots of food, very well organized, I had a great time!!
73 Mother Road Marathon 10/10/10 Joplin OK 4:58.02 Marathon 89       My 69th Marathon and 12th state!! Running on Route 66 was a thrill, volunteers were awesome along the course, great crowds!! Although our bus driver got lost in the morning, it was a nice joy ride. I was bothered by sore hip, but was able to push it barely finish under 5 hours.
72 Tahoe Triple Day 3 09/26/10 South Lake Tahoe NV 5:27.05 Marathon 408       This last marathon wasn't as scenic as the previous 2 in my opinion since we had to run on the bike path, not much of the view of the lake until Mile 20,mostly trees. But I was struggling early on due to my quads were still sore from the day before. Met a new friend Diane who walked with me the last 2 miles. After the race I soaked my legs in the lake and cool them off. 3 races in 3 days - accomplished!!!
71 Tahoe Triple Day 2 09/25/10 South Lake Tahoe NV 4:47.23 Marathon 408       My legs felt pretty good the second, the 1st half of the course was mostly downhill so I was feeling pretty good until after 13 miles when I had to share the bike lane with the on coming cyclist on the uphill while they were coming down.

Glad to meet "Baby Cougar" Morgan when she came up behind me. Great Maniac turnout. Love to run it again next year

It was hot as hell, I spend a lot of time at the aid stations. Totally passed out around Mile 24!! but I woke up and was able to struggled the final miles with the help of my friend Brian. I will be back next year!!
67 RNR San Diego 06/04/10 San Diego CA 4:35.52 Marathon 3481       My 64th Marathon, met Kara Goucher at the expo. didnt like the new course format, running on the narrow bike path on Fiesta Island sucked. Did not like the finish line and the shuttle afterward, way too crowded. I wont do RNRSD again until they change the course.

65 American River 50 Miler 04/10/10 Auburn CA 11:08.46 50 mi 128       MY FIRST 50 MILER!!! This race has the best of both world, part road, part trail. The volunteers and the aid stations were awesome!! The toughest part was the last 3 miles with the never ending uphill climb. The finisher's jacket was OK, had to buy a better one from previous year.

62 RNR New Orleans Marathon 02/28/10 New Orleans LA 3:55.47 Marathon 60       my 60th Marathon!!! Requested bib number 60 and I got it!! I was starting at Corral 1 and I had no trouble running my own pace from the start, the course was really flat and I was able to set PR!!!! LOVED THE MEDAL!!!
61 Pasadena Marathon 02/21/10 Pasadena CA 4:34.52 Marathon 174       was going for a sub 4, but the warm and cool weather change throughout the morning affected me, plus there was a hill at mile 21 which was tough. I didnt like the new course. Medal was nice but I probably wont run this one again.

Perfect weather though, awesome medal and long sleeves tech shirt!!! had chilli, cornbread, crackers, bananas, cookies after the race at the refreshment area. Great race!!

Awesome food at the finish line, free sweatshirt for all finishers was a PLUS!!Very quiet marathon, need more spectators. Overall great small race.

41 Long Beach ICB Marathon 10/12/08 Long Beach CA 4:15.56 Marathon 3224       1st Long Beach Marathon, my 2nd fastest time,couldnt do it without the 4:15 pace group. Met up with Silver and Jeanette after the race. Great volunteers.
40 Big Bear Marathon 09/06/08 Big Bear CA 5:28 Marathon 205       Saw a few Maniacs again from my previous races at the start. a very hilly course, high elevation and warm weather were a killer.
39 Bulldog 50K 08/23/08 Malibu CA 7:54 50 km 311       My first ultra marathon finish!!!! Met 2 other Maniacs at the start. The course was really tough, but the aid stations and the volunteers were incredible helpful, couldnt finish without their awesome support
