27 Las Vegas Rock and Roll 12/06/09 Las Vegas NV 5:25 Marathon         Completed my attempt at a Double. Ran first mile in 9:41. Ran with a couple different MarathonManiacs throughout the course. And now I have my fourth Star!!!!Yippee.
26 Borax Death Valley Marathon 12/05/09   CA 5:04:12 Marathon         Haven't seen anything official on the results. Used the race to start my attempt at a double. Ran with Rick Haase and High Fived Yolanda Holder. Thought it was an ok event. Ran it with minimal training.
25 Skagit Flats 09/13/09 Burlington WA 5:18:19 Marathon 136       Hot, Undertrained, legs were dead, but I finished. Got to run with Lisa MM#1538.
24 Seattle Rock & Roll 06/27/09 Seattle WA 4:57:02 Marathon         My timing tag didn't work, so I got no official finish time or splits. Minimal training for the event...again. Liked the course, support, bands, fans. Very interesting to run with so many other runners/walkers.
23 Tacoma City Marathon 05/03/09 Tacoma WA 4:42:05 Marathon 6 217/ 271   25/ 28 Lack of training and hamstring/ITB issues prior to the race. Got to run with MM Steve #484. I talk so much, I missed the 5 mile marker. Still set a good pace early on and was able to grind to the finish. Great Marathon. 5 STAR.
22 Whidbey Island Marathon 03/29/09 Oak Harbor WA 4:41:05 Marathon         Did better than I thought. Have been fighting hamstring and other aches, so training has been dismal. Ran with Dave England (MM281)for awhile. Course has more climbing than advertised.
21 41st Annual Birch Bay Marathon 02/22/09 Birch Bay WA 4:54:24 Marathon         Ran with MM#1021 Tori and later with Stan. Wet and rainy day. Very hard since I've had very limited training and weight was up.
20 Birch Bay Ghost Marathon 12/13/08 Birch Bay WA 5:03 Marathon 34       8th of the year and my 20th career race...But still a baby compared to Little Leslie and Stan N.who I ran with most of the way...sorta. Bad weather didn't happen for the marathon, (showed up Saturday nite) but cool and breezy for race day. Great support for a small marathon. Kudos to Scott for the great event.
19 Las Vegas Marathon 12/07/08 Las Vegas NV 4:29:39 Marathon         First time on new course. Liked it and had fun. Although the start was conjested. Thanks to Art (MM351) who I ran with till mile 22. Enjoyed the conversations Art, Thanks. Overcast day made it comfortable.
18 Bellingham Bay Marathon 09/28/08 Bellingham WA 4:48:06 Marathon 253 189/ 269 109/ 135 14/ 18 Liked the new course, especially the Cornwall Park trail and Squalicum Way. Better Start/Finish area. Got to run with MM Andy and MM Monte for parts of the run...Marathon Maniacs are so friendly.
17 Skagit Flats Marathon 09/07/08 Burlington WA 5:15:20 Marathon 81 172/ 189     Got injured with metarasal problems 3 weeks before and got very little in training runs. Mostly Water Running. So I suffered. Plus I was use to the heat/sunshine. But I finished. Nice Event.
16 Whidbey Island Marathon 04/13/08 Oak Harbor WA 4:43:29 Marathon 359 279/ 382 178/ 220 21/ 26 2nd Marathon in back to back weekends. Thought the course was hard on the second half. Nice touch finishing in the stadium
15 Yakima River Canyon Marathon 04/05/08 Selah WA 4:31:47 Marathon 248 231/ 401   25/ 40 Deceptive, thought I was on pace to get close to a PR and hit the long climbs and downhills that killed my legs. Had a good finish though.

9 Ironman Canada 08/26/07 Penticton BC 5:32:27 Marathon         13:51:14 overall time. Was well worth the 4 hour drive, and two hour wait in line to register a year in advance.

7 Seattle 11/26/06 Seattle WA 4:31:42 Marathon         Rainy weather, first time I've ever had bloody nips. Got stuck in the Blizzard on the way home.
6 Ironman Coeur d'Alene 06/25/06 Coeur d'Alene ID 6:08:02 Marathon         15:06:58 overall time. Crashed on the bike for the very first time.
