112th Boston Marathon 04/21/08 Boston MA 3:43:21 Marathon         A beautiful day and a great run in Boston. My first marathon in Maniac yellow. Ran with 2 good friends, met 3 Maniacs and loved every minute of it.

8th Army Marathon 04/30/11 Camp Casey KOR 3:49:35 Marathon   1/ 2 1/ 1 1/ 1 An army of two completed the 2011 8th Army marathon. First half of a weekend double and I'll never forget the people who made this race possible for me. A great marathoning experience.
Austin Marathon 02/14/10 Austin TX 3:50:23 Marathon 1275       First marathon after hip injury fall of '09 so very happy to be trotting over the hills on a gorgeous day. Felt great.
ChunCheon Marathon 10/19/03 ChunCheon S.Korea 4:33:00 Marathon         First marathon at age 41. Had a bad ITBS flareup at mile 6 and hobbled to a painful but happy finish.
ChunCheon Marathon 10/28/07 ChunCheon S.Korea 3:40:07 Marathon     73/ 1144 20/ 345 Another well-paced ultra training run and a triumphant return to ChunCheon, site of my first marathon. Enjoyed the race and proud of how far I've come.
Chuncheon Marathon 10/24/10 Chuncheon South Korea 3:37:36 Marathon         Another strong training run at Chuncheon, though the hills and warm temps took their toll. Not an easy course, but I sure love doing it every few years.
Cinderella Trail 50K 08/20/11 Oakland CA 6:41:01 50 km 511 5/ 18 2/ 6 2/ 3 The quad-crushing downhills made hiking the steep uphills a pleasure. Hardest thing I've ever done.

DongAh Seoul International Marathon 03/12/06 Seoul S.Korea 3:49:33 Marathon         Ran with my good friend Emma ("Don't think, just run!") on a very cold day and finally got the BQ. Maybe we'll give this marathoning thing another chance.

Haulin Aspen Trail Marathon 08/08/10 Bend OR 4:09:09 Marathon     10/ 65 1/ 10 First trail race and first time racing "high". Never fell and didn't gasp for breath any more than normal. Had a great time and remembered to enjoy the views during the 2 miles I had to hike. Good, dirty fun.
Hot & Cool Marathon 08/12/06 Seoul S.Korea 5:03:00 Marathon         Very hot and humid but also cool. Ultra training run with Emma on a back and forth 2 mile stretch of hills. Lots of food and nice volunteers who happily hosed us down.
Hot Summer Marathon 07/18/10 Namsan, Seoul S.Korea 4:05:24 Marathon 7517   4/ 18   Hot, humid and hilly. Seven passes of a 3.75mile stretch of hills. I think they call this kind of marathon "character building". I'm chock full of character now.
International Peace Marathon 10/03/06 Seoul S.Korea 4:16:46 Marathon         Another ultra training run with Emma. Hot and humid but a good run.
International Peace Marathon 10/03/07 Seoul S.Korea 3:48:37 Marathon     9   Ultra training run but a strong effort. Cooler than last year and a well-paced run.
JoonAng International Marathon 11/06/05 Seoul S.Korea 3:55:52 Marathon         Closer to the BQ but went out too fast and struggled from mile 17 on. Swore off marathoning forever!!!!
JoongAng Seoul International Marathon 11/07/10 Seoul South Korea 3:26:59 Marathon       47/ 372 Consistent, even pacing finally got me my ManQ (men's Boston qualifying time) and an age-graded sub3--my two main goals for the last two years. Couldn't have run this one better. An awesome day.
JoongAng Seoul International Marathon 11/04/12 Seoul KOR 3:26:04 Marathon 12218   29/ 438 12/ 147 Couldn't quite PR but at least faster at 50 than I was at 49. Strong run until I hit a strong wind in mile 25 and 26.
JoongAng Seoul Marathon 11/02/08 Seoul South Korea 3:31:01 Marathon         6 minute PR but 2 seconds shy of my ManQ goal (the men's BQ time for my age group). A well paced race on a beautiful day.
JoongAng Seoul Marathon 11/06/11 Seoul KOR 3:29:29 Marathon 373       Second marathon in the rain this year. What are the chances? Not a great-feeling race but primary goal of BQ minus 30 accomplished.
LIG Korea Open Marathon 04/05/09 Seoul South Korea 3:31:30 Marathon 2027   7/ 33   Beautiful day and ran a well-paced race that should have brought me in under 3:30. Instead, the course was long and I got nuttin'. Rats.
Marathon For Kids Cancer 05/01/11 Seoul KOR 3:50:38 Marathon     2   Day 2 of the double. Felt surprisingly good and only a strong headwind in the second half kept me from turning in a faster time than Day 1. Placing 2nd was icing on my double layer cake.
MBC HanGang Marathon 04/25/10 Seoul S.Korea 3:42:47 Marathon 2120   15/ 67   Beautiful day, great running partner, 4 miles of uphill in the last 10K. What's not to love? uh, the 4 miles of uphill in the last 10K. But still a solid, satisfying run.
New Year's Sunrise Marathon 01/01/11 Seoul South Korea 3:55:50 Marathon 7299   1/ 10   Very cold day but a fun run with Mike and totally worth the 16" plastic rabbit I got for being the first of the few but hardy women.
San Francisco Marathon 07/26/09 San Francisco CA 3:39:52 Marathon     100 6/ 164 A strong run across the Golden Gate Bridge and over the hills of SF. Jet lag be damned, the cool weather felt great and lots of fellow Maniacs kept spirits high. A very enjoyable run.
San Francisco Marathon 07/29/12 San Francisco CA 3:44:27 Marathon 257       Hoping to CR but fell 5 minutes short. Probably my last time on this interesting but tough course.
Sea Day Marathon 06/01/08 Seoul South Korea 3:40:15 Marathon   127/ 656 5/ 41 3/ 23 Wanted to run 3:30 but the heat got in the way. 80* at the finish. It was a tough race but well worth if for the box of dried anchovies in the goody bags.
Sea Day Marathon 05/29/10 Seoul Korea 3:35:19 Marathon 58   9/ 37 5/ 16 My TWENTIETH marathon! Strong run on a warm day, 16 miles with Mike until he dropped me like a dead fish. Paced it well and got my Sea Day 08 redemption.
Seafair Marathon 07/10/05 Bellevue WA 3:58:47 Marathon         First BQ attempt. Not even close (needed 3:50)thanks to the blasted hills!
Seafair Marathon 07/09/06 Bellevue WA 5:05:00 Marathon         Ultra training run on the "flatter and faster" (Ha!) Seafair course with my friend Donna.
Seoul Ultra 11/19/06 Seoul S.Korea 7:01:38 63.3 km         First ultra. Ran with Emma and felt strong the whole way. Due to circumstances beyond her control, we had to stop frequently, but a fun and satisfying event none-the-less.
Seoul Ultra 11/18/07 Seoul S.Korea 5:41:52 63.3 km   8/ 75 1/ 11   Exceeded every goal I had set for this race, in spite of it being a cold, windy day. A very strong race for me.
