Was shooting to finish under 4:00. Went real good through 18 and lost it at the hill just after the Newton firestation. Silver lining - in no other race have I passed over 6,000 people! |

As usual a great run race. Organization is tops. Wasn't my best run but got to run with a bunch of Maniacs! Came across the finish with Carolyn P and Wayne W (after he conceded to a new BPR by downing 7 beers along the way). Even got my first cartwheel in. Now if they can only do something about the heat at this race - it's been 3 years in a row with hot weather! |

I've never been so disapointed in a PR! Wanted a 3:40 real bad but course was tougher than expected, mostly downhill but it's the 1000 feet of aggregate uphill that got to me. Gotta decide on whether I want to scrap my first Ultra now and try a 3:40 at OKC |
