Toughest road marathon I've done. Hilly, hilly...beautiful countryside. First year for this race...they did an awesome job taking care of us runners. |

What a race....first 2.7 miles were straight uphill (well, Fred's Mountain)...took an hour. Legs were trashed from day before marathon (First double)....race full of climbs and descents. |

laps were 3.26 miles long....it had rained overnight....cloudy for the first 4 to 5 laps. Than the sun/heat showed up. Heat index near 100..I survived 8 laps. Two blisters.. Terrain wasn't what I liked. Cross country type running mostly...with some trails/gravel and pavement. |
