It is the 10th year anniversary of my first marathon in Louisville, Ky. Met old buddy Tim Robison, scored and smoked a little weed (legal in Washington) and went to Mt. Rainier.

37 Kentucky Derby Marathon 04/27/13 Louisville KY 3:45:23 Marathon         Perfect weather. My best time since my 3:40 in Chicago in October 2009. Post knee surgery PR. YIPPEE!!!!
36 Land Between the Lakes 03/09/13 Grand Rivers KY 10:28 60 km         On pace to make the final loop for the 50 miler, when I tripped over something at mile 21 and messed up my right leg. Limped the last 16 miles to complete the 60K and get the belt buckle. :)
35 Maple Leaf Indoor Marathon 02/24/13 Goshen IN 4:45 Marathon         2nd indoor Marathon....HA!! Back to backs. Maniacs out in force again. Met Justin Gillette, number 5 in the world 60 total marathon wins. I remember it took about 30 of the 204 laps to get warmed up and then i hit the wall at lap 180 ( mile 23 ), overall a great race. At least i had a good 20 :)
34 Maple Leaf Indoor Marathon 02/23/13 Goshen IN 4:10 Marathon         First indoor marathon, 204 laps, music playing the whole way, marathon maniacs in force, met alot of great people!! Would definitely consider doing it again.
33 Planet Adventure Winter Trail Marathon 01/26/13 Indianapolis IN 6:42 Marathon         Snow covered trail....4 loops, temps got down into upper teens. Fingertips very very cold at the end of this one.

28 Louisville Marathon 10/14/12 Louisville KY 4:02 Marathon       1/ 10 I swear I don't know how you can have a headwind for 26.2 miles. For one of the first times I understand what they mean by mile 20 being the 1/2 mark in a marathon. The last 6.2 UGH!!! I did finish first in my age group. OH YEA!!

22 southern indiana classic marathon 04/14/12 evansville IN 4:00:35 Marathon   67 51 3 was trying to break 4 hrs for the first time in over 2 years, came up a little short, but very very strong winds during the race. Made it tough. I did finish 3rd in my age group. Yippee!!
21 land between the lakes 50 miler 03/10/12 grand rivers KY 10:39:10 60 km         11 hr time limit was at mile 45 with 45 minutes to go. No possible way. Had to be driven to finish line. Was backed down to the 60K. First 60K, 45 miles was still my longest run. The 50 will have to wait until some other day.

12 Boston Marathon 04/19/10 Boston MA 4:32:22 Marathon   19653 11672 1701 May have been my toughest marathon of all. Less than one month before my knee surgery. Ran the whole way at the very slowest pace. Thanks to Bostons crowd support to keep me going. Actually didnt run all the way, kissed 25+ girls at Wellsley. : )

Needed 3:35:59 to qualify for Boston for 2011 and 2012. Hit the wall at the end and missed qualify by 4 minutes and 8 seconds.
8 Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon 04/25/09 Louisville KY 4:00:41 Marathon   195 152 7 what a tough course and it was hot. Had just ran Boston on monday and was hoping to break 4 hours. Wasnt to be. This race actually qualified me as a Marathon Maniac, 2 marathons in 16 days. Boy I could be number MM 1500 or below. I like 5584.

This year they had police on bicycles watching for people going to the bathroom in the woods. ha ha.
