158 Little Rock Marathon 03/03/13 Little Rock AR 5:56 Marathon         Wow...what a change from when I ran it the inaugural year! The course is mostly the same, but a lot more folks. Ran it this time with the Delaware Diva and had a fun time!

152 Recover From the Holidays 12/31/12 Huntsville AL 8:22 50 km         Took the early start and ran with Diane B., who was finishing her 71st marathon/ultra of the year. Not an easy loop, but lots of history and great runners on this course!

128 Parke County Marathon 05/29/11 Bridgeton IN 6:57 Marathon         This is a pretty hill and crazy race. the RD did not really have his act together too well and I don't say that very often. You have to travel several miles on a dirt road to get to the start. I will do it again before recommending it to any friends.

125 Snickers Marathon 03/05/11 Albany GA 4:49 Marathon         My fifth Albany/Snickers and I got a special cap. This is always a first class event. Good pace groups. Ran with Marie M. for about 15 miles and she got a big PR.
124 Austin Marathon 02/20/11 Austin TX 5:35 Marathon         What a fun city! Great expo and logistics (except not enough porta-potties). Tough course and it got hot. Ran with MM Catherine T. and picked up others along the way. I will do it again!

109 Darkside Memorial Day Marathon 05/30/10 Peachtree City GA 5:38:20 Marathon         Low key run on paved and shady golf cart paths. 5 loops. It was very humid and I was pretty miserable the last couple of loops, but it is a good training run at a GREAT price.
108 Flying Pig Marathon 05/02/10 Cincinnati OH 4:50 Marathon         What a great event! It was pouring rain and I tried to be miserable...but the great spectators and volunteers would not allow it to happen. My camera did not work right in the rain, so no Maniac pictures.
107 Southern Indiana Classic 04/11/10 Evansville IN 4:37 Marathon         Wow...these folks hit the jackpot on understanding how to put together a class event the first year out! Nice course with plenty of roll, but many flat sections as well. Great aid staions and entertainment! Saw several MMs.
106 Oak Mountain 50K 03/20/10 Birmingham AL 9:09 50 km         Ouch...a long day in the woods! Did pretty well through 20 miles and then REALLY slowed for the last 12+. Saw Graham Gallemore and other MMs.
105 Snickers Marathon 03/06/10 Albany GA 5:00:09 Marathon         I've run all four of these races. Great support and logistics. I was sick with a cold, but all the enthusiastic volunteers make this fun! Saw several MMs.
104 Mercedes Marathon 02/14/10 Birmingham AL 4:56 Marathon         Completed the Alabama 3N3 Marathon Challenge with my friends MM Ira Jones and Catherine T. Catherine qualified for MM status with her finish. We had a great MM pasta dinner on Saturday night!
103 Tallahassee Marathon 02/07/10 Tallahassee AL 4:22 Marathon         Great run until my adductors locked up at mile 17. Saw several MMs including Angela Ivory.
102 First Light Marathon 01/10/10 Mobile AL 5:01 Marathon         22 degrees at the start with Wind Chill of 15 degrees. Ran with MM Ira J. and future MMs Catherine T. and Cathy C. We had fun once we warmed up. Lots of MMs doing their second of the weekend.
101 Recover From The Holidays 12/31/09 Huntsville AL 7:06 50 km 76       Low-key, but very well supported event directed by Dink and Suzanne Taylor and the Huntsville Track Club. Muddy and rocky Cross Country trail loop with one BIG hill that you tackle 10 times. I did not have a good day but MM Graham Gallemore helped me through the last 6 miles.
100 Rocket City Marathon 12/12/09 Huntsville AL 4:58 Marathon         Wow! It was fantastic to finish marathon #100 with so many friends. It was windy on the course, but I had a great time. It was very humbling to receive special recognition from my friends and from the directors of the event. My friend Catherine T. got a 5 minute PR and MM Ira continued her incredible first year streak. Thanks, everyone!
99 Atlanta Marathon 11/26/09 Atlanta GA 4:40 Marathon         A beautiful day and a PR on this course for me. The ATC does a great job in running this. Saw several MMs running and recruited several more MMs!
98 Flying Monkey Marathon 11/22/09 Nashville TN 4:55 Marathon         Once again MM Trent and his volunteers pull off a fun experience on a tough course. A full team of Maniacs turned out!
97 Peachtree City 50K 11/07/09 Peachtree City GA 6:03 50 km         6 loops of a shady golf path with gentle rolls. Ran the first three loops with MM Scott Stader. I had a 50K PR, but got the feeling that I could have gone a lot faster.
96 Steamtown Marathon 10/11/09 Scranton PA 4:37 Marathon         My second double! A very fun event and course....and of course LOTS of Maniacs running their second 'thon of the weekend!
95 Baltimore Marathon 10/10/09 Baltimore MD 5:05 Marathon         Bad weather held off. Course was pretty hilly and ran through worst parts of town, but had a good time with my friends Catherine, Hillary, and Kim! Saw lots of Maniacs.
94 Darkside Marathon 09/07/09 Peachtree City GA 5:47 Marathon         My first double weekend. Nice and FREE marathon put on by Scott Ludwig and the Darkside Running Club. A flat and shady course with a nice medal. Ran about 5 miles with Angela I.
93 Tupelo Marathon 09/06/09 Tupelo MS 5:15 Marathon         Had a great time visiting with Maniacs and running with my friends Hillary and Catherine. This race is well managed and helps jump start your fall marathon season.
92 Grandfather Mountain Marathon 07/11/09 Boone NC 5:05 Marathon         Great and low key event. Very easy to register and get a room. A very worthwhile challenge and unique course. I figured my pace wrong and had to hurry at the end.
91 Hatfield-McCoy Marathon 06/13/09 Williamson WV 5:08 Marathon         A tough day, but seeing lots of Maniacs made it more fun. The race staff and volunteers do an OUTSTANDING job. Well worth the effort to make the trip! You feel like family here.
90 Run Under The Stars Endurance Run 05/30/09 Paducah KY 6:25 Marathon         Tough day for this Maniac, but great event. Half mile loops on a soft surface horse track at night. Nice support and facility. Got sour stomach and walked last eight miles with Maniac Angela Ivory.

88 Darkside 8 Hour Run 05/16/09 Peachtree City GA 5:15 Marathon         A crazy thing to do....but after all I am a Maniac. 107 laps on a quartermile track. Had to stop for an hour because of a lightning storm. Scott Ludwig and the Darkside Running Club rocks!!

72 Make It By Midnight Marathon 07/18/08 Macon GA 6:34 Marathon         A new PR!!.... and an hour and a half slower than Grandfather Mountain last week. Challenging course and weather, but great hosts (both MM)!
71 Grandfather Mountain Marathon 07/12/08 Boone NC 5:08 Marathon         Got stung by a bee inside a nostril at mile 4! Ran with MM Lynne Evans and had a good time. Saw a lot of other MMs. Nice day and beautiful course. Hope to do again next year!
70 Run Under The Stars Endurance Run 06/14/08 Paducah KY 6:47 50 km         Great All Night Race on a half mile horse track. Fantastic support...just show up and run and the staff takes care of water, sports drink, gels, etc. Met Laurie "the Kid" who was doing her second 50K in ONE DAY. Also met Lazarus Lake, race director of the Barkley Marathon and the Vol State 500K!
69 Sunburst Marathon 05/31/08 South Bend IN 4:33 Marathon         A great event! Beautiful course, mostly by the St. Joseph River and ending at the 50 yard line in Notre Dame Stadium. Lots of MMs out here today!
68 Strolling Jim 40 Mile Run 05/03/08 Wartrace TN 9:34 41.3 mi         Wow...a pretty tough run to do the week after a marathon (at least for me) Did OK for 33 miles then the wheels fell off. Very nice race, however!
