Did set a new PR but probably will not run this one again. They do a good job for 30,000 people but it’s just not my thing. NEVER do a race where the marathon does an out and back to meet back up with people doing the 1/2.

5 R&R Seattle 06/27/09 Seattle WA 3:54:20 Marathon 10006       Not a fan of the full and half starting together and then sending the marathon out on a 3 mile out and back. You join back up with people doing the half at 90 sec slower pace then you had started with. Great views.

Lots of aid stations, 30 min delay after we were in the shoot because people couldn’t arrive on time, got to go on Dodger Field, $17 for parking, horrible expo. Id say it is a must do ONCE!!

33 Pemberton 50k 02/13/10   AZ 6:02:10 50 km 161 99/ 149     Pushed it a little too far and hurt the knee. Had to walk 10 of the last 16 miles. Fun course so so on the RD effort. No medal, no emails the entire year, winners got a bar of soap. BUT you cant beat 75 degrees in Feb. Well stocked aid stations and VERY friendly volunteers.
