HMRRC Winter Marathon 02/19/12 Albany NY 3:48:19 Marathon 2684 70/ 129     State #42, PR by 6 minutes! Perfect weather, 35 and sunny. Very low key event, fairly flat.
Omaha Marathon 09/25/11 Omaha NE 3:54:10 Marathon 294       Ecstatic! Shaved another 4 minutes off my PR! I even had a 3 minute poop break in the first half. Crazy... Oh, nice race, great weather, only a couple hills. State #38 done!

Wisconsin Dells Marathon 10/24/10 Wisconsin Dells WI 4:33:17 Marathon 118 148     Very 'crappy' run, spent 9 minutes at 2 porta pottys, had upset stomach almost entire time, severe stomach hunger pains entire 2nd half, no energy. moderately hilly (1125 ft gain, and same loss on this out and back course), tough run! Oh well, they can't all be good ones :P

Grandma's Marathon 06/19/10 Duluth MN 4:47:17 Marathon 2202 3898/ 5597 2604/ 3456 352/ 446 Ran with a friend for first 11, then just lost all energy, and slowed WAY down. Awesome race, loved the crowd support, course, and scenery. Met Florida Maniacs Linda and Stephanie around mile 20 and they really helped me stay steady the last 10k!
New Jersey Marathon 05/01/11 Long Branch NJ 4:52:03 Marathon 2396       Scenic race, great weather. I hated pretty much everything else about New Jersey. Rude people, traffic, gas attendants, tolls, overcrowding, etc. State #32!

Sunburst Marathon 06/05/10 South Bend IN 5:02:58 Marathon 325 611 409 62 What's with the freakin' red flag races! SUPER humid, could wring out my shorts by mile 6! Might have even been borderline sick, poops and litttle dizzy at mile 20'ish.
Run With The Horses 08/21/10 Green River WY 5:03:00 Marathon 260 50/ 70     Tough one. Lots of uphill first 6 miles (+2183 elevation change according to Garmin,at least it was out and back). Mile markers were off (at 25 Garmin said 26, and then 3/4th mile later was the 26 mile marker, and finish was right past that - very mentally frustrating). Roomed with Maniac #94, and ran the last half with #2261.

Madison Marathon 05/31/10 Madison WI 5:05:58 Marathon 756 1122 766 109 They said they quit timing at 4:00, b/c of the heat,high of 88, but they actually kept recording. I walked a lot the last 10 miles (with Maniac Steve Monk) and finished the course.

Grand Island Marathon 08/01/10 Munising MI 5:08:25 Marathon 753 112/ 162     Very scenic, bear ran in front of me on path at mile 25! Tough race though, humid and hillier than I thought it would be.
U of Okoboji Marathon 07/17/10 Okoboji IA 5:09:02 Marathon 332 86/ 118     Toughest Marathon yet! 90's, hard to get enough liquid! Course was nice, but should be better marked, few people took a wrong turn and cut about a mile off the route. Aid stations were spaced a little far (especially in the heat!)
Pilot Mountain Payback Marathon 02/19/11 Pilot Mountain NC 5:11:09 Marathon 332 38/ 62     Very tough trail marathon! Moderate rolling hills entire course, except for the 1500 foot rocky climb to the top of Pilot Mountain. 3600 feet elevation gain/loss total! Scenic though...
Delaware Trail Marathon 04/30/11 Newark DE 5:21:44 Marathon 702       Oops! Wrong turn, added an extra 4 miles. Otherwise fun run, pretty mild for a trail. Nice small race, could see my car from the start line.
Pensacola Marathon 11/14/10 Pensacola FL 5:23:12 Marathon 176       Legs were trashed from Soldiers the day before. Ran with my friend Rich entire way on his 1st marathon. He would have kicked my butt if he didn't have IT band problems. State #24!

Madison (Montana) Marathon 07/25/10 Ennis MT 5:40:21 Marathon 323 20/ 26 16/ 22   Wow, Tough Marathon, but most scenic! 8500-9500 elevation throughout the course! Garmin said it was 3400 feet incline, 4000 feet descent over the course. High point of 9587 feet. I sure hope this will be my PW forever! Met some great maniacs, and had an awesome time!
Mad City 50k 03/31/12 Madison WI 4:42:29 50 km 36 19/ 49     Faded hard once I hit about mile 20. Great location, nice easy 10k loops, will try to do this again, schedule permitting. Big 50K PR too.
North Face Endurance Challenge Madison 10/24/09 Madison WI 6:25:52 50 km 620 144 51 110 First Ultra, first trail, sore ankles, but finished it!
Long Cane 50k 05/29/11 Abbeville SC 7:25:00 50 km 92       OMFG HOT! 94 degrees, and humid. I took it easy, and enjoyed the scenery. Very nice trails, great organization. State #33 done.
